Rhondda, my thoughts exactly. Traffic in numbers is one thing but traffic with people who really engage with you and want to read your blog is what you should be aiming for. You do a lovely job at interacting.

I try and do that too – one comment or two before I share. I don’t like it when people drop links and leave and no value to the community, What’s the point in that? How is that helping anyone?

I try to interact and respond to every comment I receive on all social media sites – for every post I share on Google+ I try to comment and interact with at least 1 new post on the page/community that I have shared to – I help where I can – offer assistance/lookups when possible and try to be consistent.

I know traffic is important – but I think ‘return’ traffic is more valuable

Building a relationship with your visitors is the key I think – an honest relationship -
