1: 8dc in first ch join to 1st hdc with a sl st,

2: ch2, 2hdc in each st around, join to first hdc with a sl st

3: Working in Back Loops Only, ch2, hdc in each st around join to first hdc with a sl st

4: Working in Both loops ch2, hdc in each st around, join to first hdc with a sl st (3x’s) end off

5: Ch1 Reverse sc around sl st to first revsc,

5: 2dc in first dc, 1dc in next 2sts, repeat around join to first dc ch3

6 – 7: 2dc in first dc, 1 dc in next 3sts, repeat around join to first dc ch3 (repeat one more time)

8: Dec dc over first 2dc, 1 dc next 2st, repeat around join to first dc ch 3

9: Dc in each st around join to first dc ch3

10: Dec dc over first 2dc, 1dc next st, repeat around join to first dc ch3

11: DC in each st around, join to first dc ch1

12: Sc in each st around join to first sc ch 1

13: Dec sc over first 2 sts, 1sc in next 2 sts, repeat around join to first sc ch1

14: Dec sc over first 2 sts, 1sc in next st, repeat around join to first sc end off leave a long tail to sew shut

With tapestry needle, weave in and out of last row, pull tight, end off, and weave in ends
