Bipolar Awareness with Crafters Corner Cafe
We are just living with an illness just like a person living with diabetes, or cancer or any other illness. To say we are all one way or another is Stereotyping. And I find it discriminatory.
I am not saying this to excuse anyone’s actions, but as far as I am concerned ANYONE THAT GOES ON A SHOOTING SPREE IS CRAZY whether they have mental illness or not.Mental Illness doesn’t make you crazy. It is just an Illness.~ Carol Parsons (Bi-Polar Awareness)
I love that you’re brave enough to stand up and speak out against the discrimination of the mentally ill. Your story matters and thank you for sharing it!
Thank you Tricia. It’s not something that comes naturally to me but I’m hoping the more I do speak up the easier it gets.
My husband also has bipolar disorder. It is an extremely hard disorder to have live with, for both the person affected and their family. Thank you for sharing your story!
Lorene, thanks for stopping by and sharing that. It is hard and I really appreciate those who stick by because it can be very emotionally trying.
