Community in the Blogging World

In honor of my first post as Sara’s assistant and the Crochet Business Blog Challenge I wanted to take this time to point out why it is so important to be part of a blogging community.

You’ve heard that it takes a village to raise a child; well it takes one to raise a blog as well.

When you are part of a great blogging community there is no competition, just a group of people who want to see each other succeed.

If you need a guest post while on vacation that is most likely the first place you look.

Maybe your giveaway is not getting enough entries; well your community will be glad to share it for you, or just send you some traffic anyway.

When you have a new amazing idea you can run it by them first to fine tune it before releasing it to the world.

Your blogging community will be some of your biggest supporters, they will listen to your hurt feeling when anonymous strikes, cheer you on when you are thinking of throwing in the towel after a bad week and share with you a wealth of knowledge.

There are so many places to find a good blogging community, it could be as simple as a group of people who like each other’s blogs and communicate through blog comments and emails.

There are Facebook groups, web sites like Triberr, and so many other places. All you have to do is look and I am sure that the right community will turn up.
