Crochet Goodies: I Got My Mojo Back

Crocheted by Sara-Momwithahook Pattern: Owl Stuffy by Cre8tionCrochet.com

I intended to enter this little fellow in the Cre8tion Crochet Design Wars but was a little late. I am still really happy with this owl.

My favorite things are Owls and Gnomes so when I saw this I knew I had to hook it. I added the bow just because I thought this little one was a girl.
It’s been awhile since I crocheted anything that brought back my crochet joy but this is one that did. I’m also making a couple of other projects that will be finished in just a bit.

Crochet by Numbers: Obama Portrait

I am now officially done with the training phase of both learning and teaching this method. Just need to find time to pitch my class to the local shops.

Design Your Own Monster Class – Craftsy and Stacey Trock

I’m really enjoying the class on Craftsy with Stacey. She is such a lovely person and a joy to learn from. I’ve watched 2 classes so far and this little Penguin was in the printouts so I made him.
I am lovin’ her sloppy knot instead of the magic ring for starting amigurumi.

Surprise Project – What Can It Be?

This is my latest unfinished project. I will get it done because it is actually for a review post that I’ll be doing. I’m a little busy but I know this one will be done within the next month or two.

Again with the Owls? Bag

This bag is lovely isn’t it? I like how it turned out. I was experimenting with a join technique called the Magic Knot so used up a bunch of my scraps. The purse is actually a free crochet pattern from a new email list I’m on. The site and Magazine is called Crafts ‘n Things
You do have to be a subscriber to access the patterns on the site however if you are an email subscriber you can receive projects of the week. This is how I had access to this pattern.
The Owl Applique is from Ravelry Designer Lindsay Buehler Farrar
