Choose a Charity and Donate Your Work or Time
Crocheters love to give of themselves and their work.
Yesterday you gave of your time to teach someone, today you’ll be giving of your time to make something for someone. It can be squares for WarmUpAmerica, blankets for the local nursery, hats and gloves for the local shelter – you choose what is near and dear to your heart.
Don’t forget that our four footed friends need love too. Blankets are always needed at shelters.
When I started crocheting back in 1999 I was involved in making blankets and booties for pregnant women. I used to give them out on a mothering forum years ago. Good grief I was dedicated as shipping those blankets was not cheap. [$15 - $30]
The blankets were given to those whose baby’s survived and the booties were given to those women whose babies graduated to angels. Having just given an angel to heaven I want to start in on this again.
Today’s Assignment:
Choose a charity to donate some of your crochet projects to. Extra Credit: Blog about it.
