Learn It - Going Back to School
Are you using affiliate marketing as your income stream? Are you writing an eBook?
The first thing you need to do is learn how to do each one.
Before I wrote Hooking for Cash, I had to write. I had to learn how to convert it to a PDF document, I had to interview various crochet bloggers and companies.
I also did research on crochet patterns that are acceptable for you to use in your business. I look into ways to sell online and in brick and mortar stores. Ad networks and affiliate programs were also part of my investigation. I’m still learning.
Don’t Wait for Perfect, It Will Never Come
If I waited until I got everything perfect I would never do anything. What I’m doing is being honest with my readers – this is a learning process for me and I enjoy sharing this information with others. If it’s worked for me and I know it’s doable for others it makes me happy to share.
Go for it
Sell ad space or participate in sponsorships. Open an Etsy shop, use it, and market it. Start publishing your patterns on Kindle or the Nook. Do you want to publish patterns in magazines? Find out how to get started.
Use this time to really learn about your income stream and how best to monetize it.
