Twitter Chat Tonight

Today I’ll be hosting my first twitter chat. We’ll be using TweetChat for the chat as it makes it easier to follow the conversation. When chatting with other guests use the hashtag #crochetbusiness. (tweetchat makes it so you don’t have to add it everytime)

Topic: Designing Crochet Patterns for Beginners

Like I said in the invitation, I am not a professional pattern designer. I can however point you to resources that will help you achieve your goal of self-publishing a pattern and/or publishing in a magazine.

You’ll hear me say this over and over – join Hookey.org. Join as a paying member of Crochet Liberation Front as Laurie has a great number of articles, webinars, interviews, printables, etc. that will help you in your crochet business.

One more site you should join is the new Crochetville. Amy and Donna have a Mastermind group that will be starting at the end of January. If you have the funds to invest ($15/month) I’m sure you’ll learn so much from the two of them.
