First, I want to thank all of you for joining me for this 31 days challenge. I appreciate you visiting each day, reading the post, and taking what you read and acting upon it.
Second, thank you for sticking around even after the whole ‘blogger’ deal. I really apologize for that. As much of a hassle it was I am glad it happened to me and not you. Now I can say without a doubt to those who ask about which blog platform to use, self-hosted WordPress all the way.
Third, I get to give out prizes. With all the focus the last week and half on transferring my blog to WordPress I forgot to let you know that Patrice of YarnOverPullThrough has a crochet pattern for one special participant. Go ahead and comment below with the one thing you will take away from this challenge. I’ll select one of you to receive her pattern.
Finally, the grand finale – Who won the grand prize? One of the prerequisites for the grand prize was completing each and everyday of the challenge. Here are the contenders.
CBBC Participants
- Patrice Walker of Yarn Over Pull Through
- Rhelena of Rhelena’s Crochet Blog
- Michelle of Milah’s Handcrafts

Um Sara, I don’t think I qualify to be the winner since I haven’t finished the challenge. I got caught up in a freelance writing project on Tuesday that kept me from doing my final, week 5, post. I’m just getting to it today and will post it, hopefully before the days is over.
Why don’t you select someone else for the grand prize?

I thought I read the last post from you – I will select another. thanks for letting me know.
My week 5 post is up, Sara, finally! Can’t believe I did the whole thing, even though I’m a day late with the last post. It was a great experience, and I’m glad I participated

Hmmm … probably should have commented on day 31 instead of here. Sorry ’bout that.

Glad you can use the gifts. I’ll start writing your Squidoo page later this week. Today your books went into the mail. You will learn a lot about altering patterns to fit you. Even though 2 are plus-size crochet they teach a lot about forming and fitting which is great to know.
