Overwhelm and questioning your sanity is all part of running a business especially when you add a craft show to the mix. How do you deal with being stressed and over stimulated with every thing that needs to be done?
Meet Ali Bierman
I’ve been participating in another challenge (Yup, I’m challenge addict) called Biztopia. It’s all about connecting and growing your email list. I wanted to share a fabulously inspiring lady with you. Her name is Ali Bierman and after brain surgery she lost her voice completely. You’d think she’d be bitter but no she pressed on and trained her brain to bring her voice back.
In this video post she shares 5 Steps to Rewire Your Brain for Success. (link above ‘Ali Bierman) You’ll have to listen closely because she is still working on getting her voice back. These are great tips and will help you with the overwhelming moments that will certainly come your way as you are building your business.
Learning to Say NO
Molly talks today about getting to know herself and what triggers stress and overwhelm. She also recognizes what makes her feel energized and ‘on target‘ as far as getting ready for the craft show. She sums it up nicely by saying:
The world isn’t going to stop. People will find their way without my help. Someone will get it done and it doesn’t have to be me. ~ Molly
I am such a people pleaser and before I can catch myself I’ve agreed to yet another project. This makes things super stressful and I find myself getting angry or resentful at the people for asking me to do things.
You know what? It’s not their fault. I haven’t set the necessary boundaries needed to protect myself. I can say NO and the world will not stop. {Light Bulb Moment} I’m sure I said NO over and over again when I was two – I know my boys sure did.
I give YOU Permission to Say NO
Do you have a difficult time saying No? What do you do to protect your time?
