As a crochet blogger you need to be on top of everything during a campaign. You need to make sure your shopping cart works, your email list subscription is up-to-date and that any partnerships you have with other bloggers are clearly outlined.

I found this Infographic on Kissmetrics (another really awesome resource for your business) which explains the various things you need to test before launching a new product, pattern, eBook or other business related campaign.

Test Your Landing Pages
Test Your Sign Up Forms
Test Your PPC Campaigns
Test Your Media Buying Campaigns
Test Your Email Campaigns

Definitions:

Landing page – the page you send people to buy your product, pattern or eBook. The only goal for this page is to get people to buy. i.e. if you want people to buy your cowl send them to the buy page not your shop url

Sign Up Forms – these are for your email list as mentioned in our previous lessons

PPC Campaign – this is a pay per click campaign and unless you have money to spare in your marketing budget you won’t be using this just yet. If you do have the money, check out

Media Buying Campaign – other advertising campaigns (not ppc)

Email Campaign – your emails sent to your subscribers for this particular launch

Is Everything set up and ready to go? Do you have guest bloggers to review and write about your new product? Will you have giveaways?
