Crochet craft show booth tip 3 or 5 (see tip 1 and tip 2)
3. Simplicity Says More Than Clutter
Keep your displays simple unless you are selling unique one of a kind clutter then go for it. If you have time before your show try to view small shops and other craft shows. Go as an observer. Why are you drawn to one vendor and not another? What catches your eye first?
For me, simple and colorful displays call to me. I only found this out from my time browsing Pinterest and searching for information on craft shows.
Flickr user GetSwung has my vote for colorful and simple use of space with her use of small suitcases to present her product on top of a table covered with a white cloth and a handmade swag banner. I like her use of patio lanterns as a way to break up the plain pink background. Moves your eyes up doesn’t it?
I like the lovely fiber batts by Flickr user Gwen.Erin . She uses simple crates to make shelves for her fiber, all neatly stacked and color coordinated too.
