Part 1

With Red Chain 25

Red (rows 1-6) Work in Back Loops Only [BLO]

1: 1hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch2 turn

(24hdc)

2: 1hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

3: 1 hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

4: 1hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

5: 1 hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

6: 1hdc in each stitch across, (Change colors in last stitch –

Orange) ch2 turn

Orange (rows 7-12) [BLO]

7 – 11: Repeat row 5

12: 1hdc in each stitch across, (change colors in last stitch – Yellow) ch2 turn

Yellow (row 13 – 18) [BLO]

13-17: Repeat row 5

18: 1hdc in each stitch across End OFF

With Green Chain 25

Green (rows 1-6) Work in Back Loops Only [BLO]

1: 1hdc in 3rd ch from hook and in each ch across, ch2 turn (24hdc)

2: 1hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

3: 1 hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

4: 1hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

5: 1 hdc in each stitch across, ch2 turn

6: 1hdc in each stitch across, (Change colors in last stitch – Blue) ch2 turn

Blue (rows 7-12) [BLO]

7 – 11: Repeat row 5

12: 1hdc in each stitch across, (change colors in last stitch – Purple) ch2 turn

Purple (rows 13-18) [BLO]

13-17: Repeat row 5

18: 1hdc in each stitch across End OFF

Take Part 1 and 2 and place on your pot. Mark with stitch markers where you need to sew for the

top[spout-handle] and bottom[spout-handle]. Sew up

You should now have something that resembles a hat with an open top. We will now be working the TOP.

Flower:

In top, Slip st to any open stitch, Sc around evenly (approximately 32

stitches more or less is fine) join with a sl st in first sc made,

Ch5, skip 1 sc, DC in next st, [Ch1, Skip next stitch, DC,]* Repeat

around until you get to the ch5, join with a slip stitch to ch3 of ch5

made.

Ch3, 2dc in same first ch1-space, 3dc in next ch1-space and in each

ch1-space around [Change to Rose(red) color in last stitch made]

[Ch6, sc in next stitch]*repeat this around End off, DO NOT JOIN, Sew

closed weave in ends.



Cord:

You can use any color you wish I chose YELLOW.

Option 1:

ch 100+ however long you want your cord , sl st in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across, end off



Option 2:

Do a chainless foundation stitch the length you desire the cord to be. End off [This is what I chose to use]

Weave cord into Open Spaces in top and cinch closed. Tie with a bow.
