{Crochet Business Plan} What’s Important to You?

Writing Prompt: What’s important to you as a business owner, ethically,

Stuart Miles – http://freedigitalphotos.net

philosophically?

For me, I have to run my business in sync with my inner spiritual self. If I don’t I will feel the unbalance in everything. I can’t separate my inner self from business. If Bill Clinton was great at compartmentalizing (can separate things) then I am a great uniter (can’t separate things).

Knowing this about myself I must include this aspect in my business plan. This can simply be to support a cause dear to my heart with a percentage of sales. I would probably use local small business mom/family owned suppliers as well, as this too is important to me.

Some business owners are really into the environment. If this is you, then you would probably look into web-hosting powered by wind energy or solar energy.

If adoption is dear to you, then you might support suppliers or businesses that fund adoption programs.

Do you see where this is going? In deciding what is important to you personally, you will find what is important to your business. It will affect whom you buy your supplies from, which companies you do business with, and with whom you want to identify with online.

This is important not only for your business plan but also for your brand identity. This is your reputation and it is so important that big businesses have PR departments to protect it.

What is the one thing you will not compromise in your business no matter what?
