How do you convey to your online buyer the joy they will get from buying your crochet item?
Simply put – Adjectives Make Us Buy
Adjectives describe a noun (your crochet item) and give your buyer important information. They are picture words that describe the appearance, the feeling, and the smell of your piece or better put, what you want your buyer to experience.
You need to write in such a way that your reader is fully engaged with your piece, they can touch it, smell it, and wear it. If you want them to feel the softness and warmth of your sweater describe it to them with warm words and colors.
Having a difficult time coming up with words that describe your piece? Try using a Thesaurus.
Danielle from Etsy’s Seller’s Guide gives her 5 Tips for Item Descriptions.
She suggests you write in an upside down pyramid.
