Today’s assignment is fairly simple – burning your RSS feed via feedburner. The original post for this assignment is “Burn Baby Burn“. RSS stands for Real Simple Syndication. (definition here)

The reason most bloggers recommend Feedburner is because it is simple and offers a variety of ways in which your readers can grab your feed. (email, reader, phone) It also has some pretty cool tracking statistics so you know what your readers want to read.

If you’ve been reading this blog for any amount of time you’ll know I refer to a number of awesome blogs like MichelleSchaeffer.com, Problogger.com, BloggingwithAmy.com and Ms.Illene’s Basicblogtips.com. They are generous with their knowledge and welcome questions and interaction. You can take a look at Ms. Illene’s RSS tutorial below.
