Now that you have your blog all set up it’s time for you to post your first blog post. From the sign in screen, enter your gmail address and password. Click on the little pencil icon. (This is for Blogger Users)
Take note of some of the tools available to you on blogspot.
- You can use a WYSIWYG editor “what you see is what you get” (Compose) so just type and add your photos and publish.
- You can also use HTML to publish your post.
- Enter your Post title
- Start typing in the content box
- Be sure to save your post
- Click preview to see what your post will look like once it is published.
- When you are finished typing up your post and adding the pictures you’d like, click the Publish button and everyone will be able to see your post.
How to Add a Picture to Your Blogspot Post:
- Click on the little picture icon
- Select where your photo is located (on your computer, on Picasa, on your blog, on the internet, on your phone or from your webcam)
When adding a photo from your computer just click ‘Choose files‘, locate the photo on your computer, click open, be sure the photo is highlighted with the blue box, and click add selected.
The photo will now be in your post. To add a caption on the photo just click on the photo. You can also change the location of the photo to left, right or center.
