Market It - You Need to Drive Traffic to Your Product or Crochet Blog
Today you’ll be making your Marketing plan. You’ll use yesterdays activities and put together a complete marketing campaign.
8 Ways to Market your Blog:
- Video – make a short 30 second video featuring your product, your eBook, article, or even a review of the product that you’re an affiliate for. (Animoto)
- Podcast – interview someone or have someone interview you. (Audio Boo)
- Affiliates – if you’re selling your own product, start an affiliate program of your own. Prepare your affiliates for the release date and give the adequate tools to market your product. (e-Junkie)
- Ads – secure ad space on blogs your customers and readers frequent (Project Wonderful)
- Google Ads – secure some keywords that are appropriate and low competition and make an ad
- Signature in email and forums – add your shop name or blog in your signature for your email and forums (if allowed) If it’s a new product or an eBook be sure to state that or change out the standard signature for your blog/shop with a direct link to your new product.
- Guest Blogging – send your guest blog posts to the blogs you chose
- Blog Tour – make sure everything is set for your blog tour and participate by commenting on all participants blogs.
